It is okay to have a long hair. But there are times when you have to cut it in order to straighten it up or for the matter of health. When is the right time to get a haircut? Actually, the longer the size, your hair will be more exposed to the ‘torture’ that you give on your hair every day. Sunlight, blowdry, hair band, hard shampoo, air pollution, pillows, and even poor nutrition can damage your hair.
To make your hair looks healthy and beautiful, even though it’s long, you should always do a hair trimming or cutting the tips. Long hair can be damaged due to environmental conditions or certain hair styles. The damage can be even worse in the long term.
Hair Washing Tips
The way you wash your hair is in fact affecting on the hair condition. Do not let your hair become greasy due to improper hair washing. Watch these tips below in order to wash your hair properly. Before you wash your hair, comb the hair starting from the base to the tip. This step will stimulate the circulation and prevent the hair products accumulation that you use.
Dampen the hair with warm water. Apply the shampoo starting at the back of the neck, along the hairline, and then continue to the top of the head. Gently massage around the head at least three times on each section so that the nutrients can be absorbed in the hair and release the follicle from dead skin cells or blockages. Rinse the hair with warm water until clean, and then apply conditioner.
Warm towel is indeed maximizing the nutrients absorption, but it does not matter if you not use it. Keep it for 1-3 minutes. Rinse the hair with cold water until clean. Cold water helps close the pores and radiates the hair shining. Having healthy hair is starting from the way you wash it.
