Venereal disease or also called STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) is a type of disease that caused by bacteria or viruses that can be transmitted through sexual intercourse and usually affects the genital area.
There are many kinds of this disease, starting from Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Herpes, to the most severe kind such as HIV / AIDS. The transmission of this disease is very fast and sometimes the patient could not even realize. Venereal disease would attack easily on the group of people who tend to have free sex life, both men and women.
There are many people who still do not realize about this disease’s threat, not to mention less awareness about the importance of genital hygiene, free sex life and prostitution problems which also accelerate the growth of this disease that could threaten the health of the sufferer, his family and other people. The affect is quite serous, such as infertility, genital blockage, impotence, miscarriage, birth defects, outside the womb pregnancy, cervical cancer and even death.
